Family and Community Outreach

Broader than our own classrooms and buildings, we look to lift all children, youth, and families in our community. Learn more about our additional services and resources below.

Learning Grove at Work

Learning Grove at Work partners with businesses to design, build, and manage quality full-service child care programs on site. Contact Kathy Burkhardt at kburkhardt@learning-grove.org for information.

Mobile Classroom

Our Learning Together mobile classroom takes our educational services out into the community, bringing best practices in early childhood education to families in their own neighborhoods. Contact April Mueller at amueller@learning-grove.org for more information.

Advocacy

Learning Grove’s ongoing advocacy work with local, state and national decision-makers helps achieve the best possible outcomes for all children, youth, families, and teachers. Initiatives include increasing government support for the child care industry and raising teacher pay. Contact us for more information.

Resource Coordination

Resource Coordinators connect Learning Grove families living in Lower Price Hill, Price Hill, and Mt. Washington, as well as FamiliesFORWARD participants at Withrow University High School, Carson School, Bond Hill Academy, Hays-Porter, College and Academy of Multilingual Immersion Studies (AMIS) to basic and emergency resources (food, clothing, rent/utility assistance, medical (physical, dental, behavioral, vision, etc.) to help stabilize and support them.
